Green is Universal

Earth Week is almost here!

Starting April 16 at 7am EST we’ll flip the lightswitch to begin a week of green NBCU programming, tips from our talent, and the first ever Green is Universal LIVE Earth Day event  in Philadelphia.

This year we are growing digital gardens with the collective power of our one small acts. Throughout the week (and afterwards) you can grow a garden on your mobile device as you pledge to do one one small act. On Earth Day we will project on giant screens the power of one at the live event. As each person makes a pledge a flower blooms!

Which one small act will you pledge on Earth Day 2012?

  • Power down your computer
  • Turn out the lights when you leave a room
  • Carpool one day a week
  • Wash your clothes in cold water
  • Join meat free Mondays and eat vegetarian once a week
  • Use a reusable shopping bag

Stay tuned for more information about all the happenings next week!
